The first thing that comes to mind regarding Disney World safety is the integrity of the rides themselves such as how secure are they? Are they in optimum working order? How does the weather effect the attractions? In the span of a year, from 2009 to April of 2010, Disney World accident count is up to nine (9).

July 5, 2009: A 21-year old monorail driver lost his life when his train crashed into another monorail due to a track-change malfunction.
August 6, 2009: A 47-year old Disney performer died from injuries received during a Captain Jack’s Pirate Tutorial show.
August 17, 2009: a Disney stuntman died after suffering a head injury while practicing a tumbling roll for the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show.
October 31, 2009: A 4-year old girl was injured at Disney’s Fort Wilderness resort when a golf cart she was riding in turned over.
March 14, 2010: A Disney employee broke his leg after he was struck by a guest driving a car at the Tomorrowland Speedway .
March 23, 2010: Eight(8) people were injured, one (1) seriously when a Disney bus and a Waldorf Astoria bus crashed into each other near Epcot.
And on April 1, 2010: a 10-year old boy was killed when a bus hit him at Disney’s Fort Wilderness.

With millions of visitors every year, the list of Disney World accidents seems miniscule, but not to those who either were injured or who lost a loved one; these nine accidents changed what should’ve been a fun-filled day and a great time for the entire family into a life altering experience. So, it’s very important to pursue justice for all accidents diligently and with full disclosure.
