Diversity of Trade Show Display Options

Trade shows have always been an important part of various industries and fields and they provide businesses as well as private freelance professionals the opportunity not only to show off their incredible product or service to new consumers but also to network with other professionals in their field and those that are associated with it. And while this is a traditional component of business events, the experience and structure for these shows has changed dramatically, particularly in the last decade or two.

One of the reasons for the enormous changes that have taken place is the quality and variety of the trade show displays themselves. The tremendous advancements that have occurred in display technology make it possible to create an entire thematic experience. Life-size cut out displays and fold up boards can combine with spectacular full screen visual presentations that will allow your business to stand out and attract people from across the room. Having a quality product or service is as important as it ever was for maintaining your businesses’ success, however, the way and extent that you present your company has become incredibly dynamic and almost as exciting as the product itself. You can be as creative and adventurous with your display as you’d like or as simple and refined as your product or service requires. Plan ahead and really make an impression at your next trade show.

King’s Ship in Stockholm

While visiting the city of Stockholm Sweden you will want to head over to see the ship of King Gustav II Adolf from the Vasa Dynasty. They named the ship after the family name and it is a major heirloom to the city today. When Gustav inherited the throne there were three wars going on one with Russia, Denmark and Poland. This king needed the baddest warship he could build. And so came the Vasa.

After two years of hard work the ship left the dock for her maiden voyage in August of 1628 but ended up sinking in the middle of the harbor only meters away from the dock. There were some things salvaged from the bottom of the harbor over the next few years but mostly it just sat on the floor until the mid 1900s.

By 1990 the ship had been removed from the bottom of the sea along with many of its contents and had been restored. It has become Vasa Museum that takes visitors back hundreds of years in culture and maritime design. So while you are staying at one of the Stockholm hotels you really should go see some wonderful, well restored, displays of Swedish history.
